Do you want to be made well?

What if, Lord, my answer was no?

What if I chose control over surrender?

My shame over your story?

What if my response was yes, but my prayers had gone unanswered.

Today, God, make well.

Make new.

Reveal your kingdom come.

healing wide like a banner over the arc of my life

and spread it small like mud over the bow of my eyes.

Remind me, Lord, and your healing gift keeps giving.

Remind me that the spirit which gave you rise lives and moves and

breathes in me. Be with me, Father, and help me to see you're not yet, now. We are going to open up the scriptures together. So if you don't have a Bible this morning,

would you put your hand in the air

and someone will get you one in just a moment?

And also as a reminder, we say this every week as well.
