Hey guys, welcome to the show. Today I was supposed to have Victoria Jackson on. I said that last week, but she was in town and we ended up having dinner with her and her wonderful husband Paul and we

ended up not doing an interview so maybe next time when she's in town. So today

I want to look at the history of the gay movement.

It's Gay Pride Month, as you all know.

And I recently read this book called The Gay Revolution.

It was written by a lesbian named Lillian Faderman.

And it's called, the subtitle is The Story of the Struggle.

It's a very long book.

It's like 600 plus pages.

And basically, I just want to go through

kind of the key turning points in the gay movement starting in 1924 and take a look at all of those kind of turning points and see how we got to where we are today.
