I feel like we're heading towards a Red Sox self-fulfilling prophecy,

where I think it was three years ago that more than 50% of the Red Sox staff became

dated analytics people, so less than half for baseball people.

And if, you know, at some point the investment in the analytics side has to be scrapped too,

if, you know, maybe in favor of real baseball players.

But if these three kids are good, the Red Sox, you know, see, our analytics program works, when in reality, it worked

because the analytics sucks, so the team sucks, so the draft picks were good.

But that's what we're heading towards.

We're heading towards a scenario where they can justify that this whole move to a data-driven

baseball organization was successful for them.

Well, listen, I don't even think they'll need the results.

I mean, I don't think it's going to go in the other direction anytime soon. No, I think the whole game's headed that way. The game isn't headed that way. It has gone that way. It's over. Yeah, it is.
