Hey, everybody, welcome to another edition of Hey, Fightin' Podcast, the official podcast of LSU Football

for the 40th time

in the 2020 football season. That's right, 40 episodes this season. I am Cody Worship

Digital Media Reporter for LSU Athletics. This will be the final of 40 episodes for the 2020

season, which will go down unlike any other season in LSU history

for so many reasons. But the Tigers go out, winners of two straight, beating Florida last week,

beating Ole Miss this week in wild fashion, in fitting fashion, both very dramatic games,

both games that the way that I phrased it after the game was

they built a lot of character, but they also revealed a lot of character. And that's one thing

that this team has moving forward. They have a lot of talent. They have a lot of character,

especially with the young guys. And we've seen that with guys like Kishon, Boutte, and Max Johnson,

who will join the podcast today after I finish my spiel here. We'll also hear from Shea Dixon to talk about the future of the

program in another way with the 2021 signing class, which right now is ranked anywhere from

number three, number four in the country. I have about a 30, 40 minute conversation with Shea

to play for you. But I want to start the show and just do this little intro on

the way this team finished. And like I said, a lot of character revealed, a lot of character

built over the last two weeks. The young guys stepped up. The old guys showed them the way

and kept the thing on track. I said two weeks ago that LSU, I said this in personal conversations,

I don't think I said it here, that LSU needed to hit a reset button.

And what I meant by that was LSU needed to get to the offseason and then hit a reset button.
