A US judge yesterday dismissed two anti-trust lawsuits against Facebook.

One of the lawsuits was brought by the Federal Trade Commission which accused Facebook of buying

up other social media sites like WhatsApp and Instagram and killing the competition in the process.

The judge ruled that the FTC didn't have enough facts to establish that Facebook has monopoly

power over the market. The judge also dismissed a lawsuit brought by 46 states saying that the alleged

violations were too old. Facebook said in a statement, we are pleased that today's decisions
