Alright guys, welcome back to the forging table. The mission of Undaunted Life is

equipping men to push back darkness with content that forges spiritual and mental

and physical resilience. So at the forging table, you'll see a group of regular

guys forging spiritual resilience by digging into God's word. And we're

welcoming all of you to come along on that journey with us. That's Matt, that

Zach, that's Derek guys. We're going to be digging into first Timothy six. We

are wrapping up this letter from Timothy to or from Paul to his pupil, Timothy.

And as with every single one of these chapters, I feel like there's so much

here. There's so much that we're going to have to leave unsaid and unspoken

about. But I feel like it's straight up fire from the very, very beginning. And

um, I just want to read the first five verses of this. And I mean, we could

camp out here the entire time. But man, there's still some some great stuff. And

then there's a, you know, to be a foreshadow, there's the most misquoted

scripture and all of scripture also in first Timothy six. So we're going to

get there. But let me read the first five verses here. Teach and urge these

things. If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the

sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teachings that accords with

godliness, he has puffed up with conceit and understanding nothing. He has an

unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which

produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant

friction on people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth.
