You know, folks, the more we look at the death of Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakara,

for those of us that have investigated these type of things, these type of, no, not even suspicious, but mysteries.

There's not a clear-cut cause manner.

There's not a clear-cut manner of death.

There's not a clear-cut cause of death.

But it's been made more of a mystery, of course, because of who this is.

This is a star.

This is a star actor. And that's what's made this thing so,

well, to put it mildly, people saying it's suspicious. And those are professionals. I don't see it as that.

I mean, I want to know answers just like everyone else does. However, the answer is in this case is in the science. But you have to marry the investigation with the science. And that means good detective work with the science of investigation.

And on the NYPD and in New York City, we would call this case a copy.

And it would stand for circumstances undetermined pending police investigation.

And once we had all the facts, and even though I hate this expression, had all your ducks in a row,

we would hopefully come up with the answer.

But that takes coordination between the investigators on the ground, the gum shoes, as we

used to call it, and the professionals, the medical legal investigators, the medical examiners

office, who conducts the autopsy and as well, the medical legal investigators, the medical examiners office,

who conducts the autopsy and as well as the toxicology, which one of those things invariably

is going to give us the answers. And that is what we're going to look for in this case.
