I'm Ken Knapsack. I'm Joseph looking back, Scrimshaw. Jennifer Land is not here today, but put a pin in that. It was something else happened, but it actually ended up I had a false memory, but here's what we're here for today. This is a little nice little intro because Joseph, it's the 10th anniversary of Force Awakens and we've been celebrating.

But also the 10th anniversary of our review of the Force Awakens.

I was very excited when we have this idea of like, why don't we just re-release the original review because I just love how much the Force Awakens is to me a film

about nostalgia. The entire sequel trilogy is kind of about like let's look back on the past.

Let's look back on what was good about the past, what was bad about the past, what about

the past is myth versus how did it really happen. And it's fun to start thinking about those

themes that are in the Force Awakens and how they might apply to our review of the Force Awakens of

what do we remember from that review that was myth and what's real what's

changed what was good in the past about the way we talked what might have changed or evolved for

the better uh all those themes uh in the sequel trilogy are really rich because they do apply to our

own lives they do yeah and and you know the first big myth was that Jennifer Landa was on the episode.

Yeah, I remember that she wasn't because I wish that she had been, you know?

Yes.

And so what happened internally, we were going to do this and we're doing this little intro here.

And I emailed Joseph Jennifer like, hey, here's the news rundown also.

Here's the review if you want to listen to it. So I set out to do that this morning over coffee. And the first thing was like, oh, Jennifer's not there. And I felt, I felt bad. I felt I'm so sorry. and I said, she was on the episode before when we did like the kind of predictions or fourth awakens is here.

Are we excited?

So I said that out and Jen, unfortunately, schedule could make it today. But yeah, I had no memory of that. Just had lived this world that Jen was on there the whole time. Now, I remember the recording of this a lot. And I remember a couple of things that I said, or at least I think I do because your memory plays tricks on you. But I remember Jennifer not being there because this is just like such a foundational episode of Forcentor for me of like we started and we didn't really have like our whole groove organized yet. We did just kind of grab an episode here, grab an
