Hello and welcome to the Tefo Football podcast. I'm John Mackenzie but I'm not joined as I always am by my good

pal and producer Mike Zimmerman. But that does not mean to say that we don't have a really exciting

episode planned for you guys today because on the podcast today we have Chris O'Hare who is a youth

coach at V-R-A-L but he's not just a coach he is also a qualified psychologist as well and that's the

topic that we talk about in today's episode because I'm

interested to hear from Chris what difference it makes being a qualified

psychologist in terms of the coaching role itself and so the episode is going

to focus on this coach psychologist hybrid role and I think there's plenty of interesting things along the way.

So as I always say the best thing for us to do I think is just jump straight into that conversation.

Before we get to the value adding, let's talk a little bit about your background

because a lot of the listeners won't know necessarily how you have arrived at the

place that you've arrived at in your career. So let's start off with some basic background. So how did you end up in football coaching?

So I've always been obsessed with football ever since a young boy and after coaching in many different parts of the world so I lived in Korea, China, a little bit in Japan.
