And we've got a great episode on tap for you guys today.

It is almost entirely going to be focused on the NHL draft and the lottery, which happened

on Tuesday night with the Rangers landing the fifth overall selection in the upcoming

draft, which will be held in late June, the 26th and 7th, to be exact, in Buffalo,

in order to help us digest the lottery and start to turn our attention toward the draft,

turn our attention toward the scenarios that could be facing the Rangers with that fifth

overall pick.

We're going to have Chris Peters,

one of my favorite prospect reporters out there from Flohockey. You guys have heard him on the

previous podcast several times. Now he's making his first appearance on the Flying V this afternoon.

So we're going to kind of go through it all. We had a good conversation where I feel like we hit on a lot of prospects, a lot of different topics, a lot of different ways that things could potentially go for the Rangers.

And Chris, to me, always has a very measured take on a lot of this stuff.

And he's as well-versed and studied on a lot of these prospects as pretty much anybody that you're

going to find. So we'll get to that conversation in just a little bit. But let's start with my

reaction. Again, the lottery results are in. They did not turn out the way I know many of you

were hoping for.
