Alhamdulillah, all praise is due to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. We praise him and we seek his help.

And we seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our souls and the consequences of our actions.

Indeed, whomever Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala guides, none can misguide.

And whomever he chooses to leave astray, none can guide him back to the straight path.

I bear witness and I testify that there is no deity worthy of worship other than Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

And I bear witness and I testify that Muhammad ﷺ is the final prophet and the most perfect worshipper.

As to what follows, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala reminds us in the Qur'an to be conscious of him when he says in the Qur'an.

O you who believe, have takwa of Allah, the way that it is befitting you have takwa of Allah and do not die except in a state of submission to him.

Dear Muslims, our prophet ﷺ was blessed with the most concise and the most succinct and the most precise speech.

And every single hadith and every single utterance of his contains many jewels of wisdom.

In today's brief Khutbah, I will shed light on one very powerful hadith that tells us a methodology about how we should go about doing something.

I call it the five step prophetic plan.

What exactly did our Prophet ﷺ tell us how to do something?

How do we accomplish our goal?

How do we get from point A to point B?

This beautiful hadith which was reported in the Sahih of the Muslim summarizes no matter what your goal might be.

Every single methodology, every single milestone has been laid out.

The hadith goes as follows and I will go phrase by phrase and we will posit every phrase.

Our Prophet ﷺ said,
