It's time for another edition of Fighting for the Faith.

It's Wednesday, September 30th, 2009. I've successfully over prepared again.

I've got to warn you today's edition of fighting for the faith is a long one.

Sermon review is going to take a bit of time.

I'll explain in a minute. Thank you are listening to fighting for the faith. My name is Chris Roseboro and I am your

servant in Jesus Christ and this is the program that dishes up a daily dose of

biblical discernment the goal of which is to get you to think bibically to get you to

think critically and to compare what people are saying in the name of God to the

word of God this program is not politically correct. I do name names and point

out errors in abundance here at fighting for the faith and if that makes you squeamish and

queasy and you're looking instead for

something that will give you three easy tips on how to have a spicier sex life

then this program really is not for you just want to let you know that up front and ahead of time. All right, I feel like I'm in a race today.

Yeah, I'm looking at what we got on deck and I can tell you we're probably going to make some cuts along the way.

I apologize, but it's one of those things.

I got a quick email I need to read. Karen emailed me the lyrics of a

song that is being taught in a Bible in a Sunday school class for kids and wanted to

know my thoughts on it. We'll be chiming in about that particular song.

I got the headline here from the Christian Post that says

Protestant leaders are unwavering in their commitment to conversation.

Whoa, there's a backbone for you.
