So we were doing the Shurut of Salah and we did two short. The first of the Shurut was to have

tahara, tahara min al-Hadeith, which means that you have to be in the state of Wudhu, either an

actual Wudhu or a substitute Wudhu, i.e. either a Shar'i Wudhu, full Wudhu, or if you have an

excuse, then something that takes the place of Wudhu. Okay, so you have to do something to have the

first Shurut done. The second Shurut, we talked about the conditions of Salah and the second Shurut

is the timings and you have to pray the Salah in its timing. You are not allowed to pray the Salah

outside of its timing and we said that the timing for Wuhar and Asr and for Makhrib and Isha is

combined for the Musafir. I didn't go into too much detail and Isha'Allah later on will go into that

but all of you know that Zuhar and Asr are the two timings overlap and Makhrib and Isha are

two timings overlap for the Musafir. Otherwise, the one who is not the Musafir or the one who doesn't

have an excuse for those people, then they have to pray each Salah at its proper time. The third

condition, a Shar'ith, the third condition, Satur al-Awrati, Bimala Yassif ul-Bashara. That

the Aura is covered in a manner that the skin is not shown. So the skin is not shown, negates

two things. Number one, transparent cloth and number two, tight cloth. Okay? So two things are negated

by the statement, the skin is not shown because if it's transparent, see through, extremely thin,

then the Aura is not covered and if it is skin tight, then the Aura is not covered. Okay? So the

third condition, the Aura must be covered. Now, what is the Aura? Wa Aura to Rajuli,

Wa Al-Ameti, Mabaina Surati, Wa Rukba. The Aura of the man and of a lady who is a slave lady.

Okay? Because there's different Aura for the lady that is free and the lady that is a slave

and we'll talk a little bit about this because it always raises confusion and realize one of these

books were written, there were slaves, people had slaves and so the Fihr has to discuss them as well.
