Welcome to the Sports Motivation podcast. It is your host, Nees Showbo. In honor of the goat, the legend, the icon, Kobe Bryant passed away just this last Sunday. We're going to be replaying the Kobe Bryant film room, which is a series that I did several years back, breaking down the mindset of Kobe Bryant and showing you his philosophy

0:21.6

and allowing you to let that seep in so that you could start practically applying his

0:27.5

philosophy to your own life. I'm real sad. I'm real hurt about this, much like I know you are.

0:32.8

Even those of you who are not fans of basketball, I'm a basketball fan, but beyond that,

0:37.3

I'm a fan of

0:38.0

greatness, just like I know you are as well. But I challenge you, just like I did the other day,

0:43.1

to really focus on what about Kobe really inspired you in the first place. And I imagine if you're

0:49.3

anything like me, it was his desire to be great. And of course, the fact that he became that and beyond,

0:56.5

I want you to realize that you can do the same thing. That's the idea. You can do the same thing.

1:02.9

You got desire just like Kobe did. You have desire. You just have to listen to it. That's your

1:07.6

challenge. So as you listen to these episodes over the next several days,

1:11.4

I want you to challenge yourself to start adopting some of this philosophy, start letting it

1:16.1

modify your behavior, modify the way that you think. Do it for yourself. Do it for Kobe. Do it for

1:22.5

those that you love. So rest in peace, Kobe Bryant. Enjoy y'all.

1:35.2

Welcome to the film room where I will be breaking down the mindset of the world's most dominant athletes.

1:37.0

1:42.9

their mindset, their philosophy, and show

1:47.6

you how you can adopt the same mindset to take the top off of your potential.

1:53.4

Your mindset, your mental makeup, what I call the G-code, will be the determining factor

1:58.8

in whether or not you will be remembered, whether or not you will

2:01.8

have an impact, whether or not you will be a leader and dominate your competition. Your standards,

2:08.0

your work ethic, your code of conduct, they're all determined by your unconscious beliefs.
