2021 was summarily expelled from his training program at the Metanoia Institute in London after he voiced support for a candid

debate within his profession about the best way to treat transgender identified youth.

Specifically, Mr. S.S. expressed concern about using prohibitions on conversion therapy as a means to block good faith, holistic therapeutic practices that aim to help gender dysphoric children and their families understand a child's distress.

At the time, it's worth pointing out, the Metanoia Institute was quite proud of the way it dismissed Mr. Ses,

tweeting out as follows,
