The reason I took this question is I want to say that the playdates are for you.

So if you don't enjoy them, don't stress it. Those age kids, they don't have to have 10 friends that are all age 2 and a half in order to be properly socialized. It's great to go out and about. I think for a lot of moms, it helps their mental well-being to see other moms, to feel like they're a part of a community.
