So we have six of us that are on the panel, so each of us is going to talk about 10 minutes and talk about our experience with both with recovery and family.

Hi everybody, my name is Polly Pistle and I'm an alcoholic.

And I'm really glad to be here and I'm really grateful for the for the programs of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon.

I am, there's been an enormous amount of family recovery in our family.

I have two sons and those two sons went through my alcoholism with me.

They were 14 and 16 years old when I got sober and and I was an alcoholic for about 16 well I drank for about 16 years and so these kids went entirely through my alcoholism with me.

And what has happened as a result of that is I'm a woman who should never have been allowed to keep these kids. I was
