I actually was on a Facebook group the other day and someone said, recommend podcasts on homesteading and I saw my

name pop up a few times I'll tell you that felt pretty good because I've wanted to do a podcast

for a long time launched it at the beginning of 2023 I think this is episode 30ish something like that

and it's been a really fun thing to get to dive into these topics.

So I posted a video a couple of weeks ago about the fall garden.

And that's what we're going to talk about a little more in-depth and casually today.

Now that video was more teaching, if you're looking for like how exactly do I do a

fall garden but I'll give you the overview today at the time of this recording we're just

past the middle of July and it is the most overwhelming time of year for a gardener just pretty

universally the middle of the summer. Of course,

I know those of you who are down under in Australia, New Zealand, and you guys are in the

middle of winter right now coming into spring and we'll be living off of your photos of your

garden here before too long because we'll be in the

gray of winter but right now for those of us in the northern hemisphere gardening we are at peak

and the peak gardening season is massively overwhelming I have talked recently about overwhelm because it's just downright necessary

to discuss when it's the middle of the growing season. The garden is coming in like crazy. Right now,

I've got multiple roaster ovens of tomatoes going. I'm recording this in my pantry and I'm having to kind of pop in here and record

podcast in between the freeze dryer running because it's too loud to record with. It's just this

constant going and you know we ate bacon sandwiches for dinner last night because I am spending so much time doing all these other things

...
