If you missed it, October was Cyber Security Awareness Month, but it wasn't until recently,

while I was scrolling through LinkedIn, you know, to see which my contacts is more successful

than I am, that I saw a posting recounting a fake job offer that they had received. So I thought it'd be

good to cover this latest attempted scam. In the case I read about, the so-called company

reached out to the person to set up an interview. She agreed and was offered the job. Before accepting,

she decided to do a little more research and learn that the actual company didn't have a job for her,

and luckily for her, it all ended there.

But we all know that between finding job openings and sending out your resume and interviewing,

Now, according to the Associated Press, a growing trend of scammers are impersonating
