today's episode,

we look at one of the newer scams out there, this one based around finding a job. And we look

at how circular homes are standing firm against hurricanes. Plus, on this day in history,

the art advisor to the queen is exposed as a Soviet spy. That's all coming up on cool stuff.

If you missed it, October was Cyber Security Awareness Month, but it wasn't until recently,

while I was scrolling through LinkedIn, you know, to see which my contacts is more successful

than I am, that I saw a posting recounting a fake job offer that they had received. So I thought it'd be

good to cover this latest attempted scam. In the case I read about, the so-called company

reached out to the person to set up an interview. She agreed and was offered the job. Before accepting,

she decided to do a little more research and learn that the actual company didn't have a job for her,

and luckily for her, it all ended there.

But we all know that between finding job openings and sending out your resume and interviewing,

that landing a job can be tough.

Now, according to the Associated Press, a growing trend of scammers are impersonating

recruiters and making it even harder.
