past couple of days, and that's that Brian Bowen, the former Louisville freshman, has enrolled

at South Carolina for folks who are unfamiliar with this story, and I can't imagine that's anybody

who is actually listening to a college basketball podcast, but still he was a five-star player,

top 30 national recruit, signed late with Louisville, enrolled at Louisville.

Everything was cool until the FBI investigation, which alleges that his father engaged in a pay

for play scheme that resulted in Rick Patino losing his job by extension Tom Jerich losing his

job, and Brian Bowen being enrolled in eligible by the University of Louisville. They did not even seek

reinstatement at Louisville, but they did give him an opportunity to remain in school if he wanted to,

or transfer with their blessing. He has now transferred to South Carolina where he's on campus,

My general thoughts on the Brian Bowen situation are that I think it's more likely than not that he
