the ideal toy company released a series of evil cannibal-related merchandise.

During the six years the toys were manufactured,

ideal claimed to have sold more than $125 million worth of cannibal toys.

Which, as you know, has the same buying power as $678 million today.

The toys included the original 1972 action figures,

and I don't care what your sister said,

they weren't dolls, they were action figures, dammit.

In 1973, ideal released the Evil Canevil Ships.

After the release of the stunt cycle,

the cannibal toys were the best-selling item for the ideal toy company.

During the next four years, ideal toys released various models

relating to the cannibal's touring stunt show.

The models included a Robbie Canevil doll,

the scramble van, a dragster, a stunt car,

and the Evil Canevil stunt world.

Additionally, ideal released non-cannevil touring toys,

including a chopper motorcycle, a trail bike,

and a female counterpart, Dairy Daring.
