Kelly Jennings. I'm so excited to finally get this thing going because I have got so much to share with you.

This is episode one, Columbine Explored. Now, before you want to go

anywhere or don't. I know we've all heard of Columbine, but this is going to be more than just

what happened. We're going to dig deep like I promised you in my previous episode zero because

it's more than just what happened. It's why it happened. How did it happen? And then the aftermath,

right, of Columbine. So just to really start out with what happened, if you are a younger listener, maybe you weren't around, right, when Columbine happened. I think, I know I was a senior in high school, actually, when it occurred. So it really was something that impacted me personally because I'm like, wow, how could, how could someone walk in and shoot up a school? How was that even a thought? I was scared to bring my cell phone into school and get in trouble for that, nonetheless,

bring a weapon into school. So we had our two killers, right? Dylan, Klebold and Eric Harris,

two guys that came into the school had a huge disgruntlement, if you will, with everything from life to society to the people they went

to school with. They decided that they were going to come in and really screw things up for people,

and they showed up, I believe it was April 12th, open fire, killing many people, including teachers,

students, and terrorizing a lot of the people who did survive.

Their onslaught of violence while walking around and going through this campus was more than I got to tell you all this, I'm wearing leather pants.

And every time I move, they make a squeaky sound.

So if you hear a little squeakety squeak, sorry, but it's just my pants.
