Chapter 15

In the previous chapter, Mr. Wilkins had arrived that morning at San Salvatore.

This is when we learned that Lady Caroline's suspicions of Mr. Wilkins were correct,

and he had, in fact, rushed to Italy upon hearing that someone with a wealthy heritage was staying with his wife in the

hopes that he might use it to his advantage in business. However, due to a malfunctioning bath,

Mr Wilkins thoroughly embarrassed himself in front of Lady Caroline, leading to a humorous first meeting.

Now that we're caught up with the story so far, let's get ourselves ready for sleep.
