So if you're ready, let's go ahead and grab your cards and begin. The Empress is the fourth

card in the major Arcana. Her number is three which is considered the number of

So let's go ahead and take a moment to explore some of the symbols in this card before we get down to some interpretations.

This card has a lot of wonderful symbols.

It's really a gorgeous card, one of my favorites to see in a tarot reading. So the first thing I'd like to

point out is that there's water present in this card, just like the High Priestess, but, unlike

Empress is flowing so when you think about the high priest is which we talked

about in our last lesson, that water is still and it symbolizes a

subconscious and being receptive. I want to say this though, don't be fooled by

A river symbolizes flow and so I like to say go with the flow, right? That's being really receptive.
