And I'm here with the low and your tea, Lo and Lorenzo, my cousin's my lovely husband.

Wonderful.

Fantastic. We have, we're just jumping you, lovely husband? Wonderful. Fantastic.

We have, we're just jumping in, right?

Yeah.

It's late in the week and late in the day and we're just ready to get this going.

We, oh, Tab Hunter just jumped on the table, our big boy cat.

So we have a couple things to talk about this week, not least of which is the Oscar nominations, the snubs and the various stories that have arose out of it, not least of which

is a sort of re-examination of the much-nominated film Amelia Perez, which got 13 nominations and

has made history because one of them is

Carlos Sophia Gascon, who is the first openly trans actress to be nominated for an Oscar,

an acting Oscar. So I want to talk, we want to talk. We never reviewed Amelia Perez on this

when we were doing our end of the year screener movies because it hit at Netflix so quickly that we were like, well, everyone's seen it at this point. But I actually have been thinking about it a lot and in light of all of these nominations and everything.

So I did want to get into that.
