Hello and a very big welcome to movers and Shakers, the podcast about Parkinson's. My name is Paul Mehi Archer. We're recording this in the pub as usual and this week our subject is The Embarrassing Stuff. And by the embarrassing stuff I mean the aspects of Parkinson's

we'd rather not talk about such as constipation erectile dysfunction dribbling and

drooling gambling and hypersexuality.

And when I first said I wanted to do an episode about these things my fellow movers and

shakers all said you're on your own Paul. So let's go around the table and find out who else is here.

well we thought you want you would want us to describe our symptoms.

Well, it would be good for you to do that.

I dribble a lot.

I dribble a lot as well.

I mean a reason for doing this episode is to reassure people with Parkinson's that none of us is on our own.

Whatever embarrassing symptom you have, others will also have it.

The other reason for doing this episode is to tell the rest of society how difficult this bloody illness is and how much help

and understanding we need.
