Hello and welcome to Bible Stories. We are your hosts, Todd Hey, my name's Matt Mullins and Todd. It's Easter, Easter. We're releasing this the Tuesday before the big day. Are you ready to have your Easter outfit? Have you gone to T.J. Max? Oh, my goodness. You know what?

I am proud to say that I really do. My wife found a jacket that's already in my closet that I'm going to

wear. I might have to find some pants, okay, but I think we're good. Got the shoes, got the belt.

I think we're ready to go.

We're going to sort of, in some way, compliment one another with the fan, with her, the kids. I don't know if the dog will have a ribbon or a new collar. I don't know, but we're all going to somehow sort of match, compliment each other. We're very excited. How about y'all? That's so fun.

We're not ready at all.

Okay.

But what I'd like to do if you grant me permission just to come over to your house one day when you and the family are gone. Or one night. Yeah. When you're asleep, when everyone's asleep, and I'll just kind of creep in and then just put little trinkets in your jacket pockets. Yeah. Just little things that might be helpful to you. In all of them. So throughout the year, it's like, oh, there's another little treatsy from my brother Matt. Oh, this is such a bad day. And then you put your hand in your pocket and you're like, is this a jack? Is this a jack from Jack's, the children's game of 1910? Is that what this is?

It's my great, great-grandmother loved those. Is that a raven's tooth? Is that the beak of a

raven? What is that? Now, one thing, can the, I'm going off on a tangent, but we got to talk

about it. Matt, growing up, remember Lucky Rabbit's Feet? Oh, yeah. People would have a Lucky Rabbit's Foot keychain. I don't see those anymore. What happened? And why were those cool? Is that disturbing a little bit, by the way? It's 100% grotesque. Like what? Yeah. I was glad culture changed in that regard. For sure. But today, we're not

talking about Lucky Rabbit's feet. We're talking about Easter. And so what we'd like to do today is to

just read together the Easter story. We recommend every year the last days of Jesus.

Today we're just going to focus on the night that Jesus was betrayed. So we're talking about

into Thursday night, and then we'll read through

the resurrection. So we're going to start in John chapter 18, and we're just going to read
