Hey, we're just so excited to be here again and you know what my favorite part about these podcasts are now just get to look at you in the eyes and admire your beauty. Wow.

That is so awkward and uncomfortable. I don't care. I'm in love with you. So, um, here's the deal. We're sitting here in a blizzard. I'm looking at my beautiful life. And I'm thinking, you know, how blessed am I?

Yeah, and I'm in reading glasses with some very massive headphones on and a microphone. Like, it looks like it's coming out of my nose.

But anyway, today we're going to talk about our early years in the ministry because on the road, both of us get these questions. You know, I got to call my life. What do I do?

So, and you promised you were going to unpack the concept of a birthing an ish male in case you weren't with us on the last podcast. You know, we were talking about serving. We were talking about all the wonderful things that happened. But then John promised to unpack the concept of what it looks like to birth an ish.

Well, we did. I did. And you did. You're probably the only man that's given birth, but that's awesome. Yeah. Um, this is Lisa had nothing to do with this. So what is an ish male? First of all, when God appears to Abraham, Abraham's kind of depressed and God says, you're going to, you know, I'm your reward, neighbor, hams. Well, I don't have any error. And God says, okay, you're going to have an error. And when he was 75 years old, God said nothing to him about this error coming through Sarah. And after 11 years of worried, you know, it should have just been understood.

Sarah was his wife. I'm sorry. Is Sarah and Abraham? I'm not even understanding the reasonings on this. But you know, well, yeah, and back then it was common for men to have more than one wife. So Sarah was like, no, only had one at the time. Right. But it's there, but it was Sarah's idea. Yeah.

Yeah. After 11 years of waiting, no child Sarah's dead in her reproductive system. She's like, Abraham, you're getting close. You need to marry my my maid.

I've already been put in someone else's hair and once and raise this promise child. And so they birth an ish male. And God is like, okay, you think you can bring forth what I promise in your own strength. I'll wait until you're both reproductively dead. So God waited another 14 years before Isaac came and shut down both factories. That's right. He did. But that's what we I did not we I keep saying we this was John Bevere who did this. But John, you know, here we were in 1983.

1984. Who's the name of the time in a minute? We were 1983 and 84 and Jesus was coming in 88. Oh my God. We had to hurry up to get in the ministry.

We had to get in the ministry before Jesus came back. We weren't going to go to heaven. I know. I know. So I was like talking to everybody. How do I do this? How do I do this? And so this one man, I remember he gave me a hundred dollar bill. He said, I'm sowing into your ministry. Well, I feel so bad for the guy that was that was wasted. See.

I know. And so we printed up business cards. We called the name of the ministry. What was it? It was John Bevere Ministries. And it was reaching the world with his marvelous.

I had a day star or something like that. It did had a star. It's a reaching the world with his marvelous light. And it was just John

of your ministries. Tell me about the tape that we made the tape series. I came up with the tape series. There was this amazing tape series.

We're thinking about bringing it out again. It's called the power to produce undeniable evidence. It was a four message series.

And for those either don't know tapes. I used to use back tapes. Cave dates. I even remember what had a cave on it too. It had a cave with a stone in front of it. It was blue and yellow. And it had the stone rolled away.

And it had our logo, the star and reaching the world with his marvelous light. I don't think I was on there. But yes. And then this is how ridiculous we were. We actually even had the wrong address on it.

Oh my gosh. Yeah. I remember that. So we we didn't have any money to print anything else. We couldn't reprint. So anyway, we had to go through all the cards and change it by hand.

Yeah. We were kind of ghetto. And and the message that John preached this power to produce undeniable evidence. I listened to on the sofa with my friend.

So we could be his audience. And he recorded himself. And we fell asleep. But yes. And we heard the message. Okay. But we'd heard the message before. So it was it was it seemed strangely familiar. So anyway, we we had an ish male. That was an ish male ministry.

And you know, I basically used the cards. And when any time I'd meet a pastor, I'd say, Hey, I can come to your church and hand him a card. You know, basically it was so sad. It was so sad.

And then one day God showed me how that I had birthed an ish male. And I remember I shot everything down. And I and I and you know what I did, Lisa? It caused me to really focus on my serving because all this was during the time when I was taking care of our passengers, our pastors, personal things.
