Good morning, Welcome to the Wednesday edition of the DSR Daily Brief.

I'm your host Chris Kottnor. Riley is on vacation and David is on assignment, so it's me solo today. My first story for you, the Biden

administration is closely monitoring the investigation into a deadly Israeli

airstrike in Rafa deemed tragic by the US,

but stated that the deaths did not amount to a major ground operation crossing US red lines.

National Security spokesman John Kirby emphasized the lack of a specific quota for such incidents

and noted that recent Israeli operations were mainly in a quarter outside Raffa, not a full-scale invasion.

Vice President Kamala Harris described the air strike which killed 45 Palestinians as

beyond tragic.

Despite Israel's denial of shelling a tent camp that killed 21 people,

the U.S. remains concerned about Israel's potential isolation from the international community due to its military conduct.
