It's been a year since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, so we thought

it would be worthwhile bringing into focus the impact of the war.

Western intelligence agencies are estimating that approximately 200,000 Russian soldiers

have been killed or wounded since the war began.

Ukrainian toll is believed to be lower, but still more than 100,000 dead or wounded troops.

However, the human impact of the war stretches far beyond the front lines.

The official toll of Ukrainian civilian deaths is at least 8,000, and according to the United

Nations Refugee Agency, the war has led to the second largest displacement crisis in

the world.

So far, 6.3 million Ukrainians have found refuge in Europe.
