Now get cozy and open your mind because it's story time.

For those of you who attended college, what was that story that everybody knew?

You know, the one that you tell, all the incoming freshmen to freak them out?

The one that you're almost certain is it true, but tell everyone about it anyway?

For me, it was a story that took place in one of the dorms of Loyola Mariamount University.

This is how I remember it.

Many years ago, there was a female student who suffered from an eating disorder in barely eight.

She had become nearly skeletal.

Winter break arrived, and her roommate left for vacation before her.

When she returned, the student wasn't there, even though all of her stuff was.

Then, the roommate noticed a horrendous smell.

It was coming from the other side of the room by the student's bed.

She climbed on top and discovered the source of the scent.

The student's tiny decomposing frame was wedged between the mattress and the wall.

No one knows exactly how she died, but the running theory is that because of her small size,

she fell into the crack while she was sleeping and was too weak to pull herself out.

Some say that her ghost still haunts that room.

It's usually the outlandish and sensational legends that get passed around.

And for this girl's sake, I really hope it isn't true.
