I've ever covered in my career. It involves religion, sex, deceit, and a series of murders, but started as a search for a missing child.

Here's the story.

It is one of the most tragically bizarre cases in the history of court TV.

If you wrote it as a screenplay, no one would take it seriously,

because it would be too far-fetched for anyone to think it was actually real but it is.

Lori Bala was married raising two children in Arizona when her brother shot her

husband Charles. Then she moved to Idaho to continue her affair with the

gravedigger and author claiming to be a prophet. His name, Chad Daybell.

Then, Lori's children disappear only to be found dead months later in the

Prophet's backyard. Meanwhile, the Prophet's wife dies and 17 days later,

Lori marries the Prophet and becomes dies and 17 days later,

marries the Prophet and becomes

Lori Daybell.

Then, when they exume the body of the Prophet's wife,

Lori's brother collapses on the toilet and later dies.

No one would believe this story, but a jury did.

And both Lori and the Prophet, Chad Daybell,

have been convicted for their roles in the murders of her two children and his wife.

Now Lori has been charged in Arizona for the murder of her prior husband Charles Vala.
