Jim tells us about the last time the Walt Disney World Railroad went through an extensive

refurbishment and why.

Let's get started by bringing in the man whose grandfather died doing what he loved,

saying,

of course, have to stop for pedestrians, you know, before stepping into the crosswalk.

It's Mr. Jim Hill. Jim has it going.

This brings back memories of March of 2004, Lent.

I was in Philadelphia for Disney's annual meeting.

This was the year that Roy, Disney, and Stanley Gold were trying to oustize

her with their saved Disney thing.

And the annual meetings being held in the Pennsylvania Convention Center,

an arts street, and where his Roy and Stanley, they're doing a save Disney

rally across the street at the Lowe's Hotel.

So yep, I'm supposed to be doing the sit down with Roy and Stanley.

And I'm running a late not looking what I'm doing.

So I step out onto art street and feel a city bus whiz by a quarter of an inch

away from my cheek.

I mean, I literally, I just turned my eye and I could feel my eyelashes being

brushed by the raised chrome on the bus.
