0:18.0	The first time I ever went to school was first grade. I didn't vote with
0:21.1	kindergarten. I remember Sissy comes running up to me one day and says, hey, my mom said you
0:27.1	could spend the night. So right after school Friday, you can come home with us, and we're going to
0:31.6	watch movies, we're going to go on heights, we're going to have a great time. Well, I was kind of
0:36.3	taking a back, and I was like, that sounds fabulous.
0:39.5	Like, what is the occasion? Is it a birthday, a holiday? Like, why are we doing this? This was new to me.
0:45.2	She said, because we're best friends. That's the first time anybody had ever called me that.
0:52.9	And we are still best friends today, by the way. Over 50 years,
0:56.7	we've been friends. And I remember that feeling that I didn't just have a friend. I had a best friend.
1:05.9	All right, let's get in this thing about Susan Morfew. Suzanne Morfew got married in 1994 to Barry.
1:12.8	They eventually had two daughters, Macy and Mallory.
1:16.3	In 2018, they moved to Colorado from Indiana.
1:21.6	They wanted a fresh start.
1:24.1	They had had some issues.
1:26.1	Suzanne had had cancer.
1:34.5	It had returned. Macy was in high school. Malory was leaving for college, so if they went to Colorado, they could be closer to Mallory.
1:46.4	In September, Suzanne's best friend visited. Her name is Sheila Oliver. Well, as best friends do, they talked. They talked most of the night, most of the day, the next night. And Suzanne told her about her marriage that it was failing.
1:51.5	Thanksgiving, Suzanne visited with her best friend in Indiana.
1:57.7	In February, Suzanne started to talk to a friend from high school, Jeff Liebler.
2:04.3	That September, Suzanne started to confide in her friend more and more about her wanting to leave
