Hey, what's going on everybody?

Welcome into another edition of DeCecho Daily.

Andrew DeCecho here, Eagles beat reporter for Inside the Birds.com.

The Eagles are reportedly interested in at least two candidates, according to Diana

Rossini of the Athletic, though that being Brian Daibel, former Giants head coach.

He was, of course, with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, has a connection there with

Jaywin Hertz, has a connection with Nick Siriani.

And then there's Mike McDaniel, former head coach of the Miami Dolphins, a

younger coach who would presumably be looking to get back into the head coaching ranks,

is a disciple of Kyle Shanahan with the 49ers. It's really good at run schemes and sort of

an elaborate passing offense as well. Questions as to how that's going to fit philosophically with what the Eagles want to do

if this next coordinator is going to have full autonomy.

And this is an interesting path because you don't quite know what the Eagles are going to be looking for.

Experience, of course, from a play calling standpoint,

but you also have to ask yourself,

do you want a younger coach like a Cliff Kingsbury, Mike McDaniel,

who are presumably going to be highly coveted for head coaching gigs if they

perform well in Philadelphia, if the offense performs well?

Or do you want someone like a Greg Roman who's been around for a while in his early

50s?

I think he's 53 and probably won't be in the running for a head coaching job in the near future.

So kind of like a Vic Fangio.
