The Eagles held their year-end press conference today, but it was about 145, where head coach Dixiriani and executive vice president, Howie Roseman, and general manager, Howie Roseman, walked down the corridor of the Novocare complex, got to the podium, and shed some light on a season that didn't reach expectations. It fell short it was an abrupt end and they were able to

kind of make sense of some of the pertinent topics that I'm sure you all want the answers to now they

weren't able to get super in-depth when it comes to the coordinator search obviously that there's that's still

ongoing they don't have a ton where they're able to divulge and take it behind the curtain there

to give you the answers that you want to hear there because it's still early on in the

process.

But Nick Suriani pretty much said that when moving on from Kevin Petulow, he was appreciative

of what he did to help win and played a big role for five years while he was here,

said the offense needs to evolve, and he did what he felt was in the best interest of the Philadelphia Eagles

to kind of move things forward.

The door seemed to be kind of left open for Kevin Petulula to return in a different type of role.

And when asked about that, Nick Siriani said, we'll see what happens, said that he expects

Kevin to have other opportunities, but he wishes the best for Kevin and his family.

And so we'll see how that all goes.

For me, the optics make it very tricky for that to actually work to bring him back in a reduced role after he was just the offensive coordinator.

I think Kevin Petulah would have other opportunities, whether that's being a senior advisor, consultant for someone like Kellan Moore, who he was very close with during his time

with the Eagles or maybe a Shane Steichen.

I still think that there will be better opportunities for

Petulho, but Nick Siriani spoke about that.
