What's going on, everyone?

This is Andrew DeCecho with another episode of DeCecho Daily.

I can't believe we're in early March.

And as I think about it, March might be my favorite month of the year.

And I'm not just saying that because my birthdays later this month, the older you get, naturally, you don't look forward to those as much, but more along the lines of the sporting events, you have March Madness, which is captivating and enthralling in many ways. And you, of course, have free agency. And there's already some

maneuvering going on as you're seeing a lot of teams release players. There is a trade. Lions running

back, David Montgomery, going to the Houston Texans. So we're already getting some action.

And things are certainly going to pick up next week.

And the Eagles are probably going to be one of those teams that have to make some of those

pre-free agency maneuvers.

I look at Michael Carter, who they acquired at the NFL trade deadline.

The Eagles can save about $8.7 million against the cap if they release him before June 1st.

So I would have to imagine that that's going to be something on the table.

And then maybe you'll see a reunion there because he does offer versatility at nickel, at safety.

He didn't really get a chance to gel with the defense.

And I think when you look at the lack of depth that they have there, he would make some sense if they're able to come to an agreement thereafter.

But that might be something to keep an eye on.

I have a, I would imagine based off of what he's owed, they're going to have to do something there.

So that almost feels like an inevitability. But
