0:14.3	And I want to spend some time today really delving deep into the tight end room and looking at all the players who make up that group right now,
0:23.5	how they fit into the 2026 equation and then where the Eagles may ultimately go from there.
0:29.7	So we'll obviously start with Dallas Goddard, who is a pending free agent.
0:33.8	Last May, he agreed to a restructured deal worth around $10 million a season, goes out there and has the most receiving touchdowns of his career, beats Pete Retzlaff's record, longstanding record, and was just such a reliable presence over the middle of the field, especially in the red
0:54.1	zone and his rapport with Jalen Hertz.
0:56.4	I don't think that that can be overstated how important that was for the overall
0:59.9	efficiency of what was a really static offense last season.
1:05.0	I think when you look back on it, Dallas Goddard proved to be one of the lone pillars of stability, if you will, that
1:12.4	the Eagles really had. And at 31 years old, he does have that injury history as well. It's fair to
1:20.0	wonder what his market will be. I have no idea. I'm curious to see how many teams are in the
1:25.8	mix for him. But I would have to think, given the age and the injury history and his connection to
1:31.7	Philadelphia, perhaps the Eagles will do whatever they can to keep Dallas Goddard in the
1:37.2	building for at least another season.
1:39.5	And then that's where you would see them in this draft.
1:41.8	I would have to imagine they draft the tight end and he
1:45.5	can kind of learn under Goddard for one year. But with with the window of opportunity open and
1:52.9	the Eagles having no other players on the roster under contract come March, I think it would
2:00.3	serve them well to keep Dallas Goddard in-house.
2:03.6	But then you have other players that are also going to be free agents in Grant Calcutera and Kylie Granson.
2:10.2	So Grant Calcutera only had nine receptions for 76 yards as the Eagles second tight end.
2:15.9	He played quite a bit of snaps, but didn't necessarily factor in offensively all that much as a receiver, which is really his calling card.
