one of my favorite guests, William Ramsey, to talk to me about the devil's advocate when

celebrities become advocates for convicted rapists and murderers. So, delighted that he's agreed to this interview and I'm so excited

to be doing another show with him again. Welcome, William Ramsey. Thank you. Thank you for having

proud to be here. Me too. Thanks for talking to me about this. So right after the Emmys were over,

I got a direct message from you of the selfie of the

Central Park Five at the Emmys. These once convicted, now they vacated their conviction. One judge

vacated it. And they are at the Emmys, parting it up, being fully celebrated. I'm glad I got the

text message from you, but it was but it's disturbing to see, no?

Yeah, absolutely. Totally disturbing because there's a significant amount of people, including the

arresting officers who believe that they were involved in the rape and close to near murder of the

Central Park Jodder. So I think that to see them in the limelight, it was very disturbing.

Yeah, very disturbing.

And also, just the idea, I kept having a fantasy, like, well, what if they showed instead of clips from when they see us, what if they showed clips from the confession?

Do you think people would be throwing tomatoes?

They probably wouldn't want to be in their presence if they actually saw the confessions that were in there,

the non-coerced confessions, which Ava Du René keeps restating in public interviews that they were coerced

confessions. But if you look at the police procedural activities,

the parents were there, they were invited there, they confessed, or confessed to being involved.

So it's kind of grotesque to see them with these Hollywood luminaries parting up.

Do you think that it has anything to do with the fact that legally, I mean, we didn't even see this with the West Memphis 3.

All we saw was Damien Eccles and maybe Johnny Depp together on a red carpet.
