Hello and welcome to True Crime Daily's My Favorite Case. I'm your host, Anna Garcia.

You know, we always say that everyone in the world of True Crime has a story to tell

about a case that they either worked or that they lived through. Some are high profile, some you've

never heard of, but they are all fascinating. Today's crime case happened almost 20 years ago

in Conway, Arkansas, where two men Carter Elliott and Timmy Robertson were found shot to death

in a suburban home. With us today are Ashley Elliott and Michael Cofino. Ashley is the daughter of

Carter and she recently published a book about her years long journey in the pursuit of justice

for her parents and Michael is the co-author of the book, which is called Demon in Disguise. We welcome

you both to the program. Thank you. I do want to make clear that even though this series is called

My Favorite Case, Ashley, I want to be very respectful toward you. I want to share my condolences.

I'm very sorry for everything that happened to your father, to your family, the trauma that you've

lived through. Clearly this is not your favorite case. We just want to explain to everyone that when

we first started talking to Michael, the author about this, why he was so fascinated about this case,

that was the perspective. Then he said, Ashley would love to join us to which we thought absolutely
