0:05.3	major and positive milestone for the country as of tonight more than 50% of
0:11.0	the population is vaccinated against COVID. That is good, but it may not be
0:15.9	keeping up with the pace of the Delta variant. We're running out of time. You're
0:21.6	absolutely running out of time. That is the governor of a state whose
0:27.0	population remains resistant to vaccines. West Virginia today,
0:31.5	amping up the urgency that same urgency as a parent on the federal level. This
0:36.9	week we've seen the administration scrambling to speed up full FDA approval of
0:41.6	vaccines to finalize a booster strategy. And now according to the New York
0:46.1	Times and Washington Post, authorized additional shots in the coming weeks
0:49.9	from people specifically with compromised immune systems. We've also seen
0:54.6	big companies doing their part with Amazon today, for instance, becoming the
0:58.0	latest, mandating that all warehouse workers mask up nationwide that starts on
1:03.2	Monday. And all across the country, city, county and state governments have been
1:08.5	doing the same. Today, New Jersey's governor ordered mask wearing for everyone
1:12.4	vaccinated or not in all schools, public and private notably from preschool
1:17.8	through the 12th grade. Not so, however, in Texas or Florida where governors not
1:23.5	only oppose these measures, they've issued orders barring cities and counties
1:28.6	from imposing them. Florida's governor, Ron DeSantis, framed it today as
1:33.1	preserving parents freedom to choose what is best for their children. He did not
1:38.4	mention the fact that Florida now leads the country in children hospitalized with
1:43.8	severe infections from COVID. And those such numbers are harder to come by for
