I'm so happy that you're here today because we're going to talk about something that I feel like so many of us, myself included, need to be reminded of on repeat.

I usually am so good about saving these like types of videos. For some reason, I have looked all

through my TikTok and I cannot find it. But this guy was talking about essentially how perfection

kills progress. And the second you let go of needing things to be perfect, you actually start

to build real momentum. And it just hit me so deeply in the moment, but it also kind of came up for me

this morning when I was journaling because it's just something that has come up for me over and over

and over again in my own life.

Like, I can think back to so many times in my life where I waited to start something because

I wanted it to be perfect.

Or I was scared to do something because I was afraid of being judged because I wasn't perfect.

Or maybe you can think of a time when you've sat on an idea for a long time because it's not

fully flashed out yet. Or you're scared of how it'll be received or perceived or you're afraid

of looking messy or making the wrong move. And it's like the irony is the thing that actually

gets you to perfect, I'm using air quotes, or at least your version of great, is starting.
