On November 28th of 1953 at about 2.30 a.m. Biological Warfare Scientist and CIA employee,

age 43 at the time, plunged to his death out of a closed window from the 13th floor

of the Hotel Staller in New York City.

Initially it was ruled a suicide, but in 1975,

the United States President's Commission on CIA activities within the United States was set up by Vice President Nelson Rockefeller.

It's often referred to as Rockefeller Commission.

And this was basically set up in response to a New York Times report in 1974

that the CIA had conducted illegal domestic activities including experiments on

U.S. citizens during the 60s.
