On January 18th, 2025 at 10:30pm EST Tiktok was executed by the state before the very eyes of it's users. As they sat in their malaise and depression, opening an app that didn't work over and over again through sheer muscle memory, the users mourned. But then at 12:30pm on January 19th, 2025 a miracle happened! Tiktok returned to us all across america! While the FYP was back, with Tiktok Lives and the tiktok shop and so many hottakes, something was different. Something had changed.
On this week's episode, Pearlmania500 and Mrs. Pearlmania discuss the Tiktok ban, social media apps that have passed on before (MYSPACE), as well as the dead internet theory and how it's basically just a fact now.
