good morning good afternoon good evening wherever you are in the world it's

time to step out onto the high wire well we're really happy to be back in

studio here in Los Angeles for the high wire if you have been watching us we

have literally been traveling all over the world so it's really nice to be

home so welcome back to our living room there's a very important show we have to

talk about today but first I want to talk about some of the things we've been

seeing in the news to begin with apparently if you've been watching the news the

NFL has now passed a law or a rule per se for the NFL that you must stand

during the national anthem you're gonna be forced to stand which I think begs

the question does anybody else think it's ironic that we have to force people

to stand for a flag that represents freedom and in other news hot headline

number two actually this is very interesting the FDA is now pulling or a

gel and other teething gels for infants now you know this is one of those

stories that I think are important we sort of look at oh I guess I have to

stop using or a gel I don't know how long it's gonna take them to withdraw

from the shelves if this should be this slow delay and everybody that didn't

catch this on the news will continue using it but you know here was what the

headline says that the FDA takes action against the use of over the counter

benzocaine teething products due to serious safety risk and lack of benefit the

FDA issued this warning because they've been having issues with or a gel in fact
