Both of these book MLMs have made questionable income claims, but it’s their worrying messages, whether in their books or in their businesses, that has people wary. While Usborne books may be steered toward children, Southwestern Advantage targets college students to sell their products—and they don’t seem to care about the safety of their distributors, either. 0:56.5	The last time Usborn made waves was in 2017, in fact, when one of their puberty guidebooks said that

1:04.4	One is to make milk and the other is to quote, make the girl look grown up and attractive.
1:09.3	That was a quote.
1:10.3	I can't decide if it's better or worse that this was in a puberty book meant for boys.
1:14.8	So while this passage wasn't directed towards young girls telling them that their breasts
1:18.6	exists in part for the pleasure of others, they were giving young boys this message though.
1:23.4	So yeah, breast do feed babies, but they're also made so girls look good for you.
1:28.8	Gross.
1:30.0	Usborn presents itself as the go-to publisher that children love, whether it's for funny, factual, or fun books.
1:37.0	Which, whatever, MLM or not, maybe this is true.
1:40.5	Maybe kids really do adore us-born books.
1:43.0	Not like I'm keeping up with popular kids' books these days.
1:46.0	Plus, they're based in the UK, so I don't really think I'll be able to easily get a hold of them
