The Steelers just finished segment two of their OTA program on Thursday.

They'll be back on the football field Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday next week for session,

That'll be a three-week program and that will lead them into the mandatory minicamp.

And need to remind everybody that OTA sessions are completely voluntary.

That is written into the CBA. In fact, 20 years ago, there was no such

thing as an OTA session. Those didn't exist. The team would see the players at the end of the year.

They would leave and you wouldn't see them again until mini camp. And then, you know, late in the 90s, the teams, the CBA NFL added these OTA sessions.

So teams would have a better idea, a better opportunity to see guys work out.

They could write that into their contracts.
