On Tuesday night, Donald Trump easily won the Republican presidential primary in Indiana

which isn't that surprising because his lead opponent Nicky Haley

ended her campaign two whole months ago. But a funny thing happened

none candidate Nicky Haley still won roughly 22% of the nearly 600,000 votes cast in the GOP primary.

This has happened again and again. A sizable block of Republican voters and GOP primaries

won't vote for Donald Trump. The fact that this is continuing even though the

nomination battle is effectively settled suggests that something here is more durable than it seems. But what is it

exactly? Today we're joined by David Drucker, senior writer at the dispatch who has a

new piece about the Indiana results.
