On Sunday, the New York Times published an extraordinary piece detailing Donald Trump's

deteriorating mental state. Importantly, the piece made Trump's increasingly deranged lies, distortions, and outright fabulism central to its

exposay.

This comes as Trump held a rally over the weekend in Pennsylvania where, predictably enough, he lied in all kinds of

repugnant ways about the federal response to Hurricane Helene. Can Democrats

capitalize on all this in the closing days of the campaign? Is there a way for them to centralize Trump's

profound mental unfitness for the presidency?

Including all the ways is non-stop lying about the response to Helene is

fundamentally disqualifying.
