Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau offered an extraordinary and heartfelt plea to the American people.

He ran through all the awful impacts this will have and then said this to Americans.

This comes as anxiety is clearly rising in Republican ranks about the tariffs,

and we're not sure people yet appreciate what a disaster this could become for the GOP.

Even as they're expressing trepidation, they're also feeling forced to keep defending the tariffs

because in today's GOP, daring to utter the mildest criticism of the Maga God King is akin to a political

death sentence.
